LCPC Candidate

Josh Healy is pursuing his licensure in Professional Counseling. He graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA with his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Josh earned his bachelor’s degree from Montana State University in Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems, where he was first introduced to the concept of holistic living. Josh brings this holistic perspective to his counseling practice, believing that health in all areas of our life is of utmost importance. Josh was born and raised in the Flathead Valley and has a strong desire to see his community members thrive.

Josh’s experience working with at-risk youth in a farm intern setting awoke in him a passion to know and understand those around him, building relationships that allow for healing. This experience led him to pursue a career in counseling. Josh completed his internship with Youth Homes Inc. in Missoula, MT as the counseling intern at a therapeutic group home for teenage boys before coming to us over a year ago. He has a passion for working with anyone struggling to navigate the complexities of life, from teenagers to retirees. Josh also loves to work with veterans and first responders as he knows first-hand from his enlistment in the Marine Corps about the challenges of returning to civilian life after a time of service. He believes that we were all made for connection and is excited at the thought of connecting with his fellow Flathead Valley residents on a journey towards health.

Outside of counseling, Josh can be found adventuring with his wife, Samantha, and friends in many outdoor pursuits. He is especially passionate about time on the river and in the mountains, introducing his friends and family to new experiences. Josh and Sam have a son Noah who has added so much to their life since he joined them over a year ago.

Let's start together.
