Josh Healy is pursuing his licensure in Professional Counseling. He graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA with his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Josh earned his bachelor’s degree from Montana State University in Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems, where he was first introduced to the concept of holistic living. Josh brings this holistic perspective to his counseling practice, believing that health in all areas of our life is of utmost importance. Josh was born and raised in the Flathead Valley and has a strong desire to see his community members live the best life possible.
Josh’s experience working with at-risk youth in a farm intern setting awoke in him a passion to know and understand those around him, building relationships that allow for healing. This experience led him to pursue a career in counseling. Josh recently left a position working for Youth Homes Inc. in Missoula, MT as the counseling intern at a therapeutic group home for teenage boys. He has a passion for working with teenagers and young adults who are struggling to navigate the complexities of transitioning from child to adult, as well as anyone needing a positive and supportive relationship through which to process the challenges which come in life. He believes that we were all created for connection and is excited at the thought of connecting with his fellow Flathead Valley residents on a journey towards health.
Outside of counseling, Josh can be found adventuring with his wife, Samantha, and friends in many outdoor pursuits. He is especially passionate about time on the river and in the mountains, introducing his friends and family to new experiences. Josh and Sam are expecting their first child this fall.
